Gary B. Gray
Owner
As owner of Cleve's, Gary serves in the role of store operations. Gary is a lifelong collector and enjoys being able to work alongside his son Carter on a daily basis. As Cleve's continues to grow and expand, Gary is always looking for new ways to serve the customers and to continue to improve the in-store experience. Gary is also a huge Chicago sports fan like his son, Carter.
Carter Gray
Store Manager, Sr. Buyer
Carter began his collecting career at age 8 and has been around Cleve's Sports Cards since he was 8 years old. In his early days of collecting, Cleve Howard spent many hours teaching and mentoring him about vintage cards. Today, Carter brings almost 20 years of experience in the hobby to his daily activities in running the store. Carter also has extensive knowledge when it comes to autographed items and grading. Carter also serves as Senior Buyer of collections at the store. Carter is a Chicago Cubs, Bears, and Bulls fan.
Jason Schultz
Asst. Store Manager, Breaker
Jason joined our team in January 2022 and has been a great addition to our team. He has been a lifelong collector and brings extensive knowledge of WWE, UFC, and soccer along with the three major sports. He is leading our breaks and has done a great job of building our audience for breaks. He also helps run the store on a daily basis and assists Carter in buying. Jason is a die-hard Green Bay Packers fan.
Dave Petersen
Inventory Mgr., Sales
Dave joined our team in October of 2019, and has spearheaded the organization of our extensive vintage and modern inventory. Dave's organizational skills has made it possible for customers who are set builders to come in and easily find the cards they are needing for their sets. Dave is also a lifelong collector and has one of the most extensive Dodger collections in the US today.
